Detailed description of Arnold Palmer Legends Country Club
Arnold Palmer Legends Country Club, is a Semi-Private, 27 hole golf facility located in Lady Lake, Florida. The facility has three 9-hole golf courses that can be combined to form different 18 hole configurations. The 9-hole courses are named: Cherry Hills, Riley Grove and Laurel Valley.
The Palmer Legends was designed to complement the already dramatic vistas throughout the golf course. Several holes play adjacent to the large dry prairie nature preserve and a few others overlook Lake Sumter and Lake Sumter Landing. The course features include many water hazards, demanding bunkers and rolling terrain.
The Legends consists of 27 holes, each nine providing its own set of challenges. The course stretches to a total of 7,180 yards, a challenge for even the most skilled golfer. However, there are five sets of tees allowing for an enjoyable experience for all skill levels

Only 18 of the 27 holes are actually designed by Palmer however all 27 holes are well done. This is the most challenging of the courses in The Villages. The greens are well kept and roll well. The fairways are in good shape. The rough is kept low to allow the course to play a little easier. for those of you up in the DC area paying $65+ dollars for a public dog track this place will be amazing. Time to play is 4 to 4 1/2 hours. Well staffed. The food in the country club is excellent!
